We have been connected to the city of Maastricht since our foundation.
Our first beer, Mosa, is a tribute to this beautiful city that used to be called Mosa trajectum.

Trained food technologist Bas started his boyhood dream Brouwerij Zuyd in 2016. During the week you will find him as a brew master at Gulpener. During the weekend, Bas goes in search of new challenging flavors and cool new brewing techniques.

Thuur handles the branding and marketing at Zuyd. He helps tell the story behind the beers and makes sure people know what the brand stands for, in a way that’s clear, creative and true to who we are.
